- Storyline: The veteran agent of American secret serviceman, Pete Garrison, saved the life of president Ronald Reagan in the past and became a legend. Presently he is responsible for the personal security of the American president Ballentine and the first lady Sarah Ballentine, with whom he is having a love affair. When his informer, Walter, discloses that there is a traitor in the secret service and a plot to kill the president. His former friend, David Breckinridge, and the chief of the secret service, William Montrose, are in charge of the investigation and all the agents are submitted to a polygraph test. Due to his situation with Sarah, he is compromised with the results and accused of treachery. He escapes, and in spite of chased by the secret service, he conducts his own investigation trying to find who is responsible. I first started viewing movies of Kiefer Sutherland after watching theterrific series, 24! I have been extremely disappointed with thesedifferent films - either Kiefer played a bad guy or some crazy lunatic!But this movie was different.
David Breckinridge played by Kiefer Sutherland is a federal agent whoinvestigates the death of one of the White House's agents. He followsthe evidence, discovering that Pete Garrison played by Michael Douglasmay not only be behind the murder of this agent, but he is alsoplotting an attack against the President of the United States ofAmerica! If you like 24, you will LOVE this! Another plus about thisfilm is it didn't only occur in my country, but it also took place inmy home city Toronto. This was a movie where I could say "Oh yeah, I'vebeen there." I will give this movie a 10/10 because I didn't see onedownfall in this amazing film.
